So we arrived in NYC on Sunday and our dinner destination was one of my favorites, Cafe Habana OUTPOST!  Totally rad.  Though it was raining.  But then?  We wandered over to Cake Man Raven.. to taste some of the famous red velvet cake.. and !!   OH NO!!  They were SOLD OUT.  I'm serious.  $6.00 a slice for red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and nuts and they were flippin' sold out at 8 pm on a Sunday.
This stuff is like CRACK!  People are so addicted to it!
Well, we are no better than others, so we have to jump on that bandwagon, too!  And we did.  Last night, they were NOT sold out and we finally had a piece.  Four of us passed around the piece of cake as if it was a magical fairy cake from the land of awesomeness.
