Gryphon NYC
Tonight at dinner, Tom was telling me about new designer Aimee Cho, whose company, Gryphon New York is taking off. What I like about Gryphon is that the entire collection started with one idea- the trench coat. I, personally, am not a fan of the trench. I don't love the shape and I really can't stand the color khaki; however, this concept intrigues me. Every great business starts with one.big.idea! She uses fur- but it is recycled fur- and truly changes the entire concept. I found a favorite new coat in the Fall 08 collection... (and it looks nothing like a traditional trench!)
pretty pretty pretty... can't you imagine running out of a party wearing this coat, off to your next adventure??
For Spring 09, we have many more fantastic looks... and yes, I AM missing the sunshine.. so I'm just going to start building my warm weather wardrobe again
