well, some of you may or may not know that I have a personal obsession with LA.  It has to do with a lot of things.
When I first left NY with my then-bf James, we were in a van headed west to move to LA- and I ended up coming down with appendicitis and we lived in Arizona for 6 months until we left for Spain.  Wow.  And you thought you know me!! heehee.
THEN, I moved back to NY (of course, hard to stay away!) and I just couldn't take it. The cold, the grey skies, the endless quest for the ultimate consumer prize.. I needed the beach. 
My good friend Noa tried so hard to convince me to go to LA- and I was ALMOST there.. but I just couldn't do it.  I ddin't want to be so far from my friends, and my mom.  SOoo.. to Miami I traveled.  And here I am!
No regrets- you all know that I am one of Miami's SUPER fans and I'm planning on at least keeping a house here forEVAH. ( I want my babies to grow up on the beach!).

BUT... Sometimes... I do think that I have an alternate life in L.A.
Is that weird?  Or is it just Caroline?

WELL- here's another opportunity for me to check it out!
AND, I'll be with one of my best friends in the whole universe, Mr. Jeff M.
We'll be staying in Beverly Hills (whoo hooo!) AND we'll be meeting lots of friends there! 

This week I'll be focusing on interesting L.A. finds as I'll be hunting around for neat-o destinations anyway.
