Hello and Happy Monday!
We had a crazy weekend with the Food and Wine Festival, which was an amazing success for Uruguay Steaks!
What an adventure. I worked the festival on Saturday with Sara for Cafeteria and it was insane. Something about Saturday, I guess...but the masses were INSANE. The gluttony was a bit disturbing, to be honest. And the amount of waste is also sad.. but I suppose it's all in the name of promoting creativity in the culinary world..so c'est la vie!
Meanwhile, I"ve been a bit out of touch with the rest of the world, and I'm now back on track. Yesterday, I took Luka for his first rollerblade!! It was awesome! We're going again soon.... like, today.
And, now, how about those Academy Awards???? I went to a fabulous dinner at Table 8 last night while I kept one eye on the awards. It was a great combination....
